C&PA obtained planning permission for 3 mews houses on this backland site. The site was a former warehouse and car garage surrounded by residential gardens. The proposed modest mews houses in a contemporary style were considered a more appropriate use in this context.
C&PA stepped the block to give each house its own identities and reduce the visual impact when viewed from the surrounding properties. The stepped detail was further incorporated in the recessed entrance porch which feature a stepped brick reveal. The modest scale and simple brick detailing creates a gentle architecture.
C&PA provided a contract administration service to deliver these houses onsite for the client.
