C&PA were commissioned to produce a Feasibility Study for a new Golf Club House for Ilford Golf Club. We were approached by a member of the Golf Club who also was Managing Director of one of our preferred building contractors, with whom we have worked for several years and have built a strong relationship.

The Golf Club House design was developed through careful analysis of the site and cost constraints.  A rational and efficient plan makes best use of the long narrow site to create an economical, practical yet elegant solution, centred on providing an atmospheric and welcoming Nineteenth Hole. The open aspect towards the entrance to the club gives a sense of arrival and physical connection through the space with large sliding windows opening onto a terrace.
