C&PA have designed a new residential led development in Leytonstone, including commercial use on the ground and basement floors and 7 new flats. The project unifies a previously disjointed series of buildings into much-needed accommodation for the area.

The massing sits carefully between the existing terraced housing and new developments to create a design that positions itself within the wider context. The improved public realm balances the streetscape and creates further commercial frontage, acting as a node on the key route through Leytonstone.

The materiality has been carefully considered to sit within the context of the local area, whilst integrating blue roofs to provide attenuation of rainwater.

The project is currently being taken through planning.
