A minimal timber clad rear extension has been added to a Victorian terrace house as part of a full house restoration. Replacing a dilapidated lean-to conservatory and reworking the internal plan to create more efficient living space without expanding into the garden.
Situated in the Durham Road Conservation Area, overcame the local planning restrictions. The contemporary extension with large slim profile sliding door and projecting modern oriel window create a modern aesthetic which is sympathetic to the original building.
